More Green Ranger Stuff. (Note: I didn't have to put the buckle on the belt so that explains its absence.) The gold chest protector was a LOT harder to make than I thought it would be since my initial plan to tackle it went awry and I had to develop some other methods. It happens sometimes.
A local friend gave me a bunch of Newtype and Animage magazines that he was planning on chucking into the recycling bin:

These date from the early 2000's, most of them--some are in English and some are in Japanese. Newtype, I've noticed, has a real hard-on for Gundam. Gundam SEED in particular:

I was thinking, since times are lean and I need some money for Christmas, that I'd offer these for sale (although ebay's out. Books and periodicals take forever to sell there, and that's if you CAN find an interested buyer. Unless you're a business selling them en masse in an ebay store, it's just not worth posting them.) I was thinking I could offer them (and some of the nice posters, extras, and other goodies that came with them) for donations (to be determined by the donator, although hopefully it would be at least enough money to cover the shiping). The magazines themselves have nice lineart sections that feature character sketches from whatever series is being featured in the magazine:

They have some nice centerfold-type foldouts:

Extras like fortune-telling books and calendars:

And huge wall posters:

If you're in love with a certain series and want some exclusive merch that no one else has, (or posters for a series that might be obscure and unknown in America,) then this would certainly be a good way to get ahold of it. If you think you might be interested in any of this stuff and that it would be worth my while to photograph and post it for sale here, please let me know.
Thanks!
