Well, with the Nariko sword finished, I can finally turn my attention to other projects, including one that has been on the verge of being finished for the last month or so. (Don't know why I have difficulty with finishing touches sometimes. Maybe I'm worried that I'll "miss" the project once it's done and gone. I can be weird like that sometimes.)

Here's a closer look:

The design looks kind of bland next to that Nariko sword, but then again, what doesn't? I used epoxy putty for the raised design on the handle and foamcore board and styrene for the blade proper. (I made the little frothing "bubbles" on the blade using built-up beads of hotglue.)
Whew.
Yay! My Cinematic Titanic DVD "The Oozing Skull" arrived in the mail! (Egads! That leading lady looks like Jenna Jameson's grandmother....)
